Die erste Kamera hatte er schon mit 8, mit 16 seine erste Ausstellung. Inspiriert von Ansel Adams, Feininger und Sebastiao Salgado kreiert Götze Bilder mit natürlicher Kraft und Ausdrucksstärke, die dabei aber auch sehr intim und gefühlvoll sind. Ihn treibt es, Stimmungen einzufangen von Dingen und Blicken, die wir alle kennen und doch durch seine Bilder neu erleben können. 
Wir finden in all seinen Bildern – vor allem in seinen Naturaufnahmen – eine kompositorische Harmonie, aber auch eine Sehnsucht nach Weite, nach Raum und Tiefe. 
Die Elemente stehen bei ihm im Dialog - im Einklang.

Michael had his first exhibition already at the age of 16. He works completely independently and creates works with a deep intensity, sensuality and yet very intimate. His passion is to capture moods from objects and views we all know, and yet can re-experience in a new way through his works. 

We find in all his pictures  - especially in his nature works – an aspiration for the endless, for width and depth.
